Sea air and sunshine

So, we escaped the spectacular storms and torrential rain that passed over the south and east of England last night. Only just though, judging by the photographic evidence on Facebook of some amazing lightning over Alnwick and Low Newton! 

Down to Alnwick for some shopping late afternoon, via Alnmouth for the customary walk on the beach with Louie. Lots of people (mostly other dog walkers) enjoying the sea air and sunshine. Fabulous!
