Seriously cool!

Today marked the possible end of Summer in the form of storms during the night and heavy rain continuing for most of the day.  The garden was grateful but it wasn't so good for a lively 2 year old who does like to get out and about these days! 
We did manage a visit to the supermarket late afternoon, which possibly is more exciting from Violet's point of view than mine: riding in the trolley is still reasonably novel and she was fascinated by the Quick Check procedure ( at Waitrose you can use a handset to scan and pack your shopping as you go, paying at a special Quick Check till when you've finished)  For my part I was excited to get a 'Parent and Child' space again today, but still glad of the assistance of daughter #1!

This picture was taken in the morning showing Violet wearing her own rather cool sunglasses.  She is very fond of sunglasses  (anybody's!) and was happy to pose to show  off this snazzy pair !
