Cromarty

Today we went for a short drive from Chanonry to Cromarty Firth. A lovely area and pretty town. There were lots of oil rigs in the firth - no longer in use - adding an interesting aspect to the views of the lovely water/hills/trees. Had a wonderful coffee after wandering around the town whose famous son is Hugh Miller, a self taught geologist and writer born in the early 1800's.
