Not another @2000AD argument with @andydiggle .

This blip is a photo of a photo I just rediscovered while tidying my office [a task long overdue]. It's a posed image, taken in a pub to spoof the hammer & tongs approach Andy and I used for 2000AD editorial discussions!

Andy was my assistant editor for several years before succeeding me as Tharg the Mighty's earthly incarnation. We had some heated debates about the comic and its content, but always because we wanted to make 2000AD the best it could be. The weekly got a lot better thanks to his input.

Andy lasted about 18 months after I left, deciding he wanted to write comics far more than he wanted to edit the scripts of other writers - quite right too. He's got some great new work out at the moment, like the creator-owned series CONTROL and he's also writing a new James Bond comic.
