Another attempt!!

I’ve been trying to grow Agapanthus for the past few years and they don’t flower. Today we tried out the new drilling tool to make holes next to the hedge at the front of the house. The intention is to plant them in more inhospitable ground, as I think that I’m being too kind to them.
 
When I dug them out of the planter, the soil was absolutely full of roots. Chocker!! I think that they have spent the last year growing roots and very little leaf.
 
Let’s see how they respond to the tough treatment.
 
I’m going to buy 3 more bulbs and plant them in a small pot and wait!! So that I can compare the two systems.
