Dragonfly

This is one of a number of sculptures made nearly ten years ago by Rob Mulholland.  The dragonfly sits poised over the water in Lochan Spling, a beautifully tranquil spot tucked away in the forest near Aberfoyle.

Plenty to see on my walk including the tiny frog and the even smaller spider.  I was hoping to find a red fly agaric mushroom but no luck today. I didn't want to wander too far off the path on my search as I was on my own.  There were plenty of other fungi but no brownie toadstools.
