Arresting
in the townhall's yard
art takes very human shapes
among trees and plants
I spent a great evening on Friday with my choir group - we performed in the context of the reconstitution of a 1916 classroom then continued by going to our choir leader's for a night of musical entertainment (and reasonable drinking). Singing as a group is a marvellous thing: it's good for the body and mind and, I'm pretty sure, for the soul, too.
Today was a very calm day, so here you have a statue that is in the yard of the townhall where Julie is currently working in the library. I took quite a few shots of it from every direction. I think it's a rather lovely piece of art.
