Merchant of Venice

Jonathan Pryce as Shylock in this wonderful production directed by Jonathan Munby. Watched this today - filmed in the Globe theatre with participating audience- at Festival Theatre in Edinburgh. Cinematography was superb. Shakespeare is still so relevant today - nothing much has changed- we haven't really evolved : greed, revenge, racism, humour, love and comedy - makes ye think. Makes you humble.
