And why not? Today Janet and I took part in the Druid hand fasting of two good friends in Wiltshire. Those in attendance came from the narrow boating community as well as the Druid, and there was a fun element of steampunk and anarchy to many of the costumes on display. It's clear that there is a deep community spirit within those who live on the canal, which is probably essential but lovely to witness too.
