Cycle the Lakes Bicycle Event

Absolutely perfect weather today for the Cottage Grove, Oregon "Cycle the Lakes" event today, with temps in the mid-70s F and a bit of cloud cover to moderate the sun.
I rode a shorter 68.2 mile course this year and enjoyed every turn of the pedals.
I'm certain the all 400+ riders would agree the weather and the scenery made for a truly fine day on their bicycles.
The past week has been a blur of activity for Kathy and I.
We spent four days out of touch at the St. Benedict's Abbey for a hospice volunteers retreat before the bike event today.
I hope to catch up on back blips tomorrow.
