Such was the man

I knew Hugh Sloan whose name is recorded here as a volunteer in The International Brigade  which assembled to fight in the Spanish Civil War 1937 /1939.
Hugh was a janitor in a school when I knew him; he was  artist/cartoonist and raconteur- a wonderful guy. I was fortunate to come across this tribute not far from where I now live. Good to have known you Hugh.
