The temperature has dropped by about 10 degrees since last week, but after further showers last night, it is still sunny. This morning started with some amateur butchery. Somehow we had to cut the pork leg up in order to get it into the freezer. What do you do nowadays when faced with a practical task you don't know how to do? Yep, Youtube videos. So we found a butcher cutting up half a pig. Lacking both the skills and the specialist knives, S didn't exactly follow the video but at least it showed where to make the major cuts, and the end result was quite respectable. Sunday lunch will be roast pork hock with real crackling and Yorkshire puddings.
