Fantastic to bump into Brian & Deborah earlier today, after too many years without catching up. Deborah was our youngest daughter's first teacher & Mrs K worked alongside Deborah for a few years. Brian is involved with Ambassadors in Sport which includes football, schools, community work and homeless support and stretches far afield, including Indonesia and Mexico. Although there are too many years between catch-ups, it's so encouraging to hear how our respective families have grown and the amazing things God is doing through ordinary things like football, generosity, coffee, bacon sandwiches and community. We've much to be thankful for, not least our daughter's education (she couldn't sit still at school, partly because she was so small that any furniture dwarfed her and partly because of an insatiable appetite for whatever's next). These are good people doing good things, continuously and cheerfully.
