Decide to switch from BT to Post Office for broadband & phone, after BT upped the monthly charges by 22%. Let them off with an above inflation increase last year, but now they're just taking the mickey. Here's hoping for a smooth transition, especially after the debacle with my last switch from Virgin.Net to BT. Virgin completely botched it, to the extent that I will never willingly entertain business with any of their companies hereafter. The idiots were sending all sorts of threatening letters etc. when they owed me money, rather than the other way around! There was no apology, or attempt to compensate for the stress, and time wasted dealing with their pathetic systems, or the supply of all those photocopied documents posted to them. But then those systems all seemed designed to deflect anyone seeking anything akin to customer service.
