A sea dragon and a blast from the past
The younger Talpid and his dad came to visit us overnight. Being of a miserly persuasion they left the car at home, spurned the bus and walked the 12 miles along the beach. Pretty impressive for an 11 year old!
The younger Talpid enjoys his beach-combing as much as I do and managed to find for me a very rare object indeed - a Sea Dragon!
His current school project is on the Second World War and so we spent the morning looking for bits and pieces from that time. Needless to say, Mrs T, the family hoarder archivist, found a few suitable items, including her mother's National Identity Card issued in 1940. You never know when it might come in useful again! You can see it as an "extra".
