Prodigal

This afternoon we drove out to a village to visit some yezidi refugees. They live in shepherds/farmers homes (see extra :the bed frames outside are for cooler summer sleeping).

We had been asked by one of the women to help try to sort out things with her husband who had taken a 2nd wife which she's furious about . We talked to the relatives but got nowhere, just got the impression that there's no easy outcome.

We got to read the prodigal son and the brother listened avidly. At the end he asked, "we are uneducated and illiterate, so how can we know God?" Great question.

L & R had a lovely time with the newborn baby who had the most beautiful eyes.
