Sunday Bike Ride

Anthea was away this weekend so Kelly agreed to come out with me for a ride. We cycled 36 km. It turned out to be a lovely warm and sunny day.

I took this iPhone snap when we stopped for coffee. You can see my bike reflected in Kelly's glasses. It's not my new road bike but my Trek hybrid. I was reminded this morning (by Igor, wearing his Bicycle Repairman outfit) that the road bike doesn't go out on wet days or, apparently, on days after wet days. So it stayed at home in the warmth and comfort of the garage while old faithful Trekky came out for a spin. I'm warned this will happen more and more often as Winter sets in!!

I was pleased not to feel any discomfort at all after my injury of last week.
