Visionaries & Voices

This visit was the most unique yet! Visionaries & Voices is a nonprofit organization that is a place that artists that have a disability can go to make their art. There is a weekly rotation of the days that the artists are in the studio working hard! This organization was started in 2003 because of an artist. He would go to construction sites in Cincinnati and draw what he thought was being demolished. Then at lunch he would change in to very colorful outfits, sometimes clown suits, and then he would return to the site. This time he would draw what he wanted to be built on the land. There are open studios that occur on the last Thursday of the month that are completely free and open to anyone!
