I went in to Reading with Harry, (he went to work), I did a quick bit of shopping, got nice lunch for parents from M and S.  I wore sandals but the temperature had dropped quite a bit and footsies were chilly so a change into socks and boots and then on to parents. They liked their new clothes that I bought them yesterday. Secretly filled a bag with the tattiest of their existing clothing for textile recycling. Keith came (unexpectedly) and we took Mum for a wander around Waitrose before lunch. Mum got a bit tearful when it was time for us to leave.
