The Ilulissat Big Three

At this time of year there are three things on most visitors wish list.

The first is icebergs (kinda easy here, I’m guessing that only thick fog could prevent that).  The second is whales - there are lots of humpback whales pottering around in Disko Bay - not always easy to spot.  The third is the Northern Lights - Ilulissat is a long way north, and if the skies are clear you’ve at least got a fighting chance.

Am happy to report that I’ve seen all three today.  The ideal blip would include all three but I’m going to have to settle for a humpback whale diving with an iceberg in the background. :-)
