Too grown up!

We have had the laziest weekend for us in forever. We had planned to go to Wimpole this morning, but Carys is coughing like a sealion and I have a cold sore that feels like it is the size of my head! So we canned that idea.

After church we went into Letchworth to return some wellies, then to WHSmiths for an exercise book for the boy who has decided that he needs to continue to write a sentence a day (at least) to improve his literacy. He has got it into his head he is bad at literacy, I think this is where the sleepwalking is stemming from. So as this writing in a book is all his own idea, hopefully it will stop the sleepwalking.

Book bought, 'cinos were had and books were read before we headed home for lunch. This is C walking back to the car, looking far too grown up for my good.

The afternoon was spent watching Return of the Jedi. Both if them loved it. The most bizarre comment of the afternoon was when Will was comforting Carys over the death of an Ewok by saying "Don't worry, the females are all at home giving birth!" Where that came from I have no idea.

Yesterday's lunch has taken it's toll on Jim, he has spent the vast majority of the day resting.
