Tiger, tiger, burning bright...

This Siberian tiger had just got up after an afternoon snooze at Blair Drummond park. Apparently they sleep for 24 hours a day so I was lucky to see him awake.

On the subject of big cats I loved the proximity of this little girl to the lion, separated only by some wire fencing (see extra photo).

Meanwhile the Sunday Herald carried an "exclusive" ( much over worked word ) on the Ann Gloag, Judy Murray battle. I had been rung up for a quote  on it but refused to get drawn into political point scoring.Only a few days before one  Editor said to me: "there's nothing i like better than to see two women fighting." 
Ouch! Well it was Glasgow.
