Monochrome Lakeland View

As I am on a black & white workshop at LPH I thought I ought to at least start the week with a monochrome subject, taken from the A66 on the way from Penrith to Keswick. The number of times I have been down here I ought to know exactly what I am looking at as I recognise this stand of trees. I've done a very straightforward monochrome conversion using channels in Lightroom and pumping up the structure in Silver EfexPro. I hope by the end of this week I will be able to process monochrome images with a lot more subtlety but we shall see.
