Ethiopian coffee ritual

Her husband was doing all the talking while she did all the work, all the while sporting an incredibly kind smile on her face. 

I don't know enough about the Ethiopian culture to know whether this absence of words from her is par for the course or part of the ritual itself. 

I do know the coffee packed a heck of a punch and that I'll probably be up until the wee hours of the morning for it ;)
