Being involved with the refugee family support group in Cambridge makes me happy as it provides a deeper sense of perspective on the world and what stuff is important.

I helped out at one of our monthly social events for the refugee families and volunteers and it had even more than the usual buzz as a couple of new families have recently arrived. Two brothers and their wives have joined the existing families. There has been a great response from the Syrian community already in Cambridge and I also think it's fantastic the government resettlement scheme has managed to keep the two brothers together.
