Framed
I stopped on the way home tonight having failed miserably in getting a blip break at lunch time.
I was late and knew the fantastic light wouldn't last till I got home. I took quite a few shots of ripening rowan berries almost ablaze in the setting sunlight. Then I saw some baby rabbits playing in the stubble at the edge of the field, of course they hopped into the hedge as soon as they saw me.
It was a beautiful evening and the side of Longannet Power Station was glowing red as I approached home, good thing its not a nuclear station or there might have been a mass panic.
When I downloaded my images I liked this one, the way the grasses frame the thistle bloom. So on a hot August night a thistle at the edge of a west Lothian cornfield is my Thursday blip.
