...on a flower

calling to me from the side of the road...

remember that commercial from long ago? the dishwashing liquid - said it would take care of your hands... leave them soft and supple... the hand model raising her arms - showing off beautifully manicured hands - fingers all delicate and wonderful looking? i was driving past this clump of flowers - pulled over quickly... snap, snap - done! then thought - i do not have those kinds of hands today... nope, nada! i have been doing so much cleaning - picking up - dusting - with my move... my hands are now rubbish! dry - cracked - peeling - nails beginning to split... they have never been in worse condition... they truly need some rescuing by that good 'ole palmolive soap - which this flower reminded me of - i long for soft delicateness back...

it will come - so will the time when i stop talking about this move and its ramifications on my life - i must say, you all have been bearing with me remarkably well - i appreciate it - your comments and support have kept me going when i've felt like giving up - you are nothing if not extraordinary - know i recognize you and very soon will be back to a more normal routine with visiting again, too - now that will make for...
