Speed of Light
Clare and I traipsed up Arthur's Seat for a preview performance of NVA's Speed of Light (http://www.nva.org.uk/current-projects/speed+of+light-31/). We're taking part as runners next Wednesday night, but tonight we were part of the walking tour as onlookers to the bizarre spectacle. Equipped with illuminated staffs, we were guided up the hill to several vantage points where we stopped and, as our staffs began to emit other-worldly tones through the night air, we watched the shapes created by the runners cut through the black of the hillside. Edinburgh city looks impressive from the summit at night too as the moon reflected over the Forth behind us.
