Olympics of the Everyday

I have been totally sucked in by the Olympics against my natural instinct.

This afternoon I saw a show in a sports centre which celebrates the achievements we make on a day to day basis in our more ordinary lives. It was very uplifting and let's face it, it's hard to go wrong when you give your audience a medal and a guard of honour on arrival.

Additional guests for tea/supper/dinner and an enjoyable evening putting the world to rights with the Olympics on the telly as the soundtrack to our evening. Michael was the DP on the Queen/007 film for the Opening Ceremony so we talked about the light that the Turners and Rembrandts are hung under.

It's also MD's 16th birthday so we raised several glasses to her as well.
