Light at the end of the tunnel.

Today I have sorted through all the rubbish in the garden pulling out anything that can be burnt. Stu cut it up and I started burning. The garden still looks a mess but we should now get away with one skip instead of two. I then did a bit of filling before painting the last bedroom with watered down paint. While I was doing this Stu painted a second layer of bitumen on the lounge floor while Dad got the downstairs lights working - very exciting!
Mom, Gem and Tyler popped around in the afternoon. Mom hasn't been for a while so I think she wanted to see how much we had left to do and Tyler wanted to toast marshmallows on the fire. Tyler gave mom the tour our the house describing the garage as "the messiest garage in the world" and the spare room as "where there is going to be a massive cinema screen". Think he will be disappointed.
