Mount Jefferson at Dawn

We started our journey back to Connecticut at 04:15 this morning.

For two years I would marvel at the dawn light illuminating the east side of Mount Jefferson.

My ride to work each day was often a visual feast.

Living here in Eugene has severely limited my relationship with Mount Jefferson.

Flying out of Eugene at the crack of dawn allowed me to enjoy a new perspective on an old friend.

I heartily recommend experiencing Mount Jefferson from 20,000 feet above the Willamette Valley filled with fog at the sun rise.
