Egrets

Egretta garzetta

We visited Wigtown today and went down to where the bird hide is. As we parked up I noticed an odd looking white bird in the distance. We got the bins and yes, it was a Little Egret! A heron chased it off, much to my annoyance but from the hide we could see four of them which was very cool. Unfortunately they stayed too far away for me to see their neat yellow feet.
