Slug pilates

Yes, I know that we are supposed to hate slugs in UK, as these are the monsters that eat people's gardens and leave slimy traces inside your house when they sneak in looking for food...

... but this one has been coming into the kitchen for three evenings now to hoover crumbs off the floor, quite cheekily, completely ignoring us standing right there, googling information about slugs. 

Did you know that they all have a hole in their side (you can see it in extra photo) called pneumostone that is, basically, their nose? And that carnivorous slugs hunt other ones by following their yummy smelling slime trails? And that they can live up; to six years?

Quite fascinating creatures, really. If only they stopped invading cat bowls...
