Mono Monday: Seasonal

Last week, I remember I mentioned that it has become a bit of a tradition to walk by the river after I have had coffee with my Monday friends and photograph the weir. It is also a bit of a tradition that I stop in a tiny pull in on my way home, leap up onto a big block of concrete block that resides there and photograph the countryside. It looks different according to the season.....

For anyone who is curious about the original unprocessed version, it can be seen here

Whilst coffee-ing, I had a call from Mum saying she was about to be discharged from hospital where she had been taken last week by ambulance, having suffered a nasty gash to her leg . Needless to say, I've been rather concerned, so I'm so pleased she's on the mend! Once I was home again, some rapid packing of a suitcase and a drive of several hours, so that I can be with her at home for a while.... I'm glad I got my blip relatively early in the day, as driving in gloom, rain and then darkness didn't offer obvious photographic potential!

Huge thanks, as always!
