Muskoka silhouette
Linda and I took a day trip to Dorset in the Muskokas. It was supposed to be mostly sunny. It rained lightly all day. Then not so lightly. So much for our beach plans. We did some sight-seeing in the rain and some store browsing and gallery visits. We also climbed the Dorset Tower, the local viewing platform - Linda half-way up, me all the way to the top. Despite the rain, the view was nice. At the base of the tower is a an art installation of rusty metal in the shape of enormous binoculars. Inside each lens is a silhouette. This one is from the left side. The right side has conifers and rocks. Both views are very Muskokan.
