The Bouquet

This afternoon I attended the final full council meeting for this term. I sat in the front row of the public seating between two special ladies. Thelma, our Mayoress sat on my right and Lorraine, wife of one of our retiring Councillors sat on my left.. It was, in part, quite an emotional meeting with farewells to three retiring Councillors and Alistair, our Mayor standing down after 12 years in office. He has served us so well. I sneaked a photo of the lovely bouquet given to Lorraine.
