Young Pheasant

CT Scan at Stracathro Hospital today - follow up from Chest X-Ray at end of August.  All a bit like a Science Fiction film - didn't see any aliens though. Had to drive through country roads to get there - best blip was this young pheasant - managed a decent shot before a car passed by and scared it into the bushes. This LINK is a winner re Pheasants - it's American but their Pheasants are the same as ours.  This must be a young one because he's still molting around his neck.  The sun has caught his chest feathers brilliantly.
