Looking through the keyhole

The dog walk was earlier this afternoon and we found ourselves walking along a pretty lane to a farm. The stream was alive with damsel flies, John spotted a grey wagtail and a fish. The sunlight and water seem to be the attraction for the damsel flies.

As we stood and looked down into the water these cows gradually moved over to fill the opening and a herd of faces stared at us.
