Out of the Woods

....the theme for this evenings Ulverston Lantern Festival. What a spectacle it was! Estimated to have drawn the largest crowds and biggest number of lanterneers. Gruffalo, Ents, Stickman, toadstools, owls, fairy folk and candlelit wonders of all sorts were paraded through the winding cobbled streets of the town. Then fireworks. All overlooked by the bright face of the nearly full moon. Just wonderful.
