Lazy Day even for Otters

Golden birch and aspens line the highway and dot the mountainsides as autumn colors are at their peak. We drove the 80 miles to Seward, on the other side of the Kenai Peninsula, admiring reflections in the lakes and seeing those last few salmon fishermen casting just one more time.

Seward has a lovely boat harbor where otters always hang out, and the
warm sun lulled even the otters to sleep - some were napping on the dock and this little guy just floated around, eyes closed.
