Heather waiting to launch her rocket at the Royal Observatory of Edinburgh. Susanna had been gutted that we couldn't visit JPL in Pasadena, so she was ultra-excited at meeting "real-live" astronomers at the Ovservatory.

We saw and held meteorites and saw (tiny) bits of moon rock in protective perspex before making and launching our own rockets. We also had a tour of the telescope dome which still opens and rotates although serious observation stopped during the 1970s due to the light pollution from the city.
