Babies, babies, babies, babies......

The things one sees in the ladies' bathooms never ceases to amaze/amuse.

On the subject of making babies, my brother in-law's wife (probably would have been easier to just say "my sister in-law") delivered beautiful twin boys in the early hours of Wednesday. I can't wait to meet my precious little nephews, and snuggle them, and coo over their delightful smooshy faces. Yep. Smitten aunt, right here.

In unrelated news (I'll work out a way to relate it to babies, just wait and see), I'm a huge fan of musician Dallas Green, of City And Colour and Alexisonfire fame. I actually got to work with him in May when he toured here with City And Colour. Today the farewell tour was announced for Alexisonfire, and within 12 hours of said announcement, I was granted media accreditation to photograph and review the Melbourne show, as well as conduct an interview. This is a big deal for me as I am just a small town girl, a mother, and I get to work with the man who inspires me twice in a year. Stuff like that just doesn't happen. Dallas is a beautiful soul with a beautiful face, beautiful tattoos, and a voice that goes beyond beautiful.
I'd totally have his babies.
