Motherly devotion

Leo had goalie training and his gloves still hadn't dried out properly from Monday night practice, so I got to work on them with my hairdryer so that he didn't have to train in soggy gloves! Maybe it is time to invest in a spare pair!

He had a great time at goalie training, as he was named 'keeper of the week' - he has been longing for that accolade. They drum roll and announce it at the end of each session. And their training kit turned up, so he can now sport his Just for Keepers kit and look like a proper goalie.

We had to start practice a bit earlier as the floodlights are still not in action - we still ended in the gloom though as the light is fading really fast.

I didn't have such a fun day as it started with a trip to the dentist. No work needed, thankfully but it is not my favourite thing, and paying for the privilege makes it extra painful.

Oh and I dropped a pan whilst washing up in a jiffy in order to get out of the house quick. It was a cheapo one, but even so it has dented rather drastically! No getting the lid on that!
