Special things

This is Mum's china cabinet. In it are from the left a lovely China dish Mum and Dad received for their wedding in 1950 along with the silver dish on the right hand side. The highly decorated jug was a gift for Mum for her 21st birthday from her father. When you lift it up it plays " a bicycle built for two". The crystal dish was my grandmothers. She used to serve the Christmas trifle in it when mum was young. My grandmother died when Mum was a teenager so I didn't have the opportunity to know her. Mum passed away last year. I am sure they would be pleased that I continue to treasure these special objects.
