Volunteering

I was up in town today to take part in the Volunteer Edinburgh Recruitment Fair at Saint Paul's and St George's Episcopal Church on York Place, open until 7pm.

It took me way out of my comfort zone. I was chatting to lots of folk looking for doing volunteering but also other charities that we could possibly link with.

I'm happier working behind the scenes but if someone visits the warehouse I'm more than happy to give a tour and show what we do and explain what happens in the distribution centre foodbanks.

But it was more difficult being in a strange noisy environment, not naturally an outgoing talkity being.

Now exhausted and time for putting my feet up.
