Strata

We did a circular walk starting at Hartland Quay and along the coast as far as Dixon's well. On the return across country we needed to go down a pathway but it was so overgrown that we walked alongside in the farmer's field. In the corner of the field, we tried to get over the bank and although we could see the way down on the other side there was no way we could get across. So it was back up the farmer's field and then we had to tackle the overgrown path which was covered in huge dock leave plants and other assorted brambles. We were really pleased when we got to the point where we had seen over the corner of the field. I took the photo on the quayside, what's left of it.
