The Station Master

Taken at the Severn Valley Railway Kidderminster. A back blip from last Saturday.

My wife's uncle died last year at the age of 92. He was a huge steam fan and built his own miniature steam engines. One of these could pull you along on a track in his garden. He visited this particular steam line on many occasions. His final journey was for his ashes to be put into the firebox of the steam engine so that they could then go out through the funnel! All the family were there and I am certain he would have chuckled about this.
