Pamplona II
Another day in Pamplona with weather that makes me happy I'm not toting the Camino pack about, we'll see how the heat affects the walking tomorrow (but it is back up into the hills at least)
Today was focused on one thing - finding and devouring some pintxos for which Pamplona is known. Apparently the difference between them and normal tapas is the small stake (or plastic sword) through the middle that holds it all together.
After good, wandering through the old town and making another stop at the Pilgrim shop we wandered back out through the parks. Today's Blip is from Parque Larraina, which offers brilliant views of the River Arga and the old town perched on the hillside. In the distance are (I think) the hills we passed through two days ago on our way into the city through the suburb of Villava.
Bonus picture - pintxos!
