Rochdale Canal

I love canal blips - but not this kind.
This is the Rochdale Canal at Springside - mid-way between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden. The Boxing Day Floods caused a massive landslide that blocked the canal.  There is still a lot of work to do - but the Canal and River Trust reckon they will be able to re-open in October.
