The Birthday Girl

The Birthday Girl (Mrs Smith's Mum) blowing out the candles on her gluten free cake, with some help from her faithful assistant (Mrs Smith's Sister).

We all piled round after school had finished. Mind you, only Ruby was in today. Joe still not right after the excitement of the weekend and Eve not well today either. 

Earlier there had been a lot of work done and a lengthy call followed by a quick trip to the Fort to grab a new sleeping bag before Ruby heads off this weekend.

Mrs Smith's Auntie died too this morning. She was a lovely, warm person who had a life that would have broken most people many years ago but she was never maudlin and just kept going despite all the awful events that she lived through.
